Academic Advising

Fall 2017 Registration

The college uses a tiered system of registration. That means students who have acquired the most credits are permitted to register first (students with 12 + or more credits, 0-11 credits, etc). Online registration begins at 8 am. These credits must be earned credits:

  • 12+ credits/higher earned - March 14, 2017
  • 0-11 credits/higher earned - March 16, 2017
  • Open enrollment begins March 22, 2017*

        (new students, early college, guests)

New students will be invited to attend new student orientation

  • Occupational Exploration/Career Development
  • Crisis Management
  • Goal Setting

Advisor Role

The advisors in the Academic Advising & Transfer Center are trained to assist students with:

  • Academic Orientation
  • Academic Advising & Course Selection
  • Transfer Planning & Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) Completion
  • Graduation Planning & Unofficial Graduation Audits
