Meghan VanderMale is an Assistant Professor in Mathematics and teach HNR 101: Introduction to Honors. She is a native Michigander and former honors student herself. She studied mathematics, dance, and French at Grand Valley State Univeristy and got her masters in mathematics from Western Washington University. She loves to travel, serve and work in different places and her experiences include living and working in Rwanda for a year and a half, teaching engineering students in exotic Ohio, and working at a farm on Crete (Greece) over the summer. This summer she will be teaching at a math program in New York City and hopefully be taking lots of African dance classes! She loves learning about just about any subject and is currently working on learning Spanish and lately has been doing lots of reading/podcast listening on composting and zero-waste.
