We are pleased to announce that we have received a U.S. Department of Labor grant to grow apprenticeships in the areas of Computer Information Systems, Manufacturing, and Healthcare.
Apprenticeship is a combination of training on the job, practical classroom and lab instruction. The programs are industry-driven, structured training methods that allow employers to use existing full-time employees to earn while they learn. There's no cost for employers to participate in this grant. In fact, this grant provides $2,700 in tuition for each apprentice that has been registered with the Department of Labor on or after October 1, 2015.
